...ot. Weellll, I do believe we have a rooster in the coop.
Ellie-ot
His sister Frannie...
One of these is not like the other one...
A mere ten days ago when I posted introductory pics in Meet the Girls you could not tell. Although Ellie(ot) always had a bigger beak than his sisters. My Mother got to re-christen him Elliot. He seems to be perfectly sweet and social- at least at this point. As long as he plays nice (and quiet) his middle name won't be dinner!

Very comical post! I needed the giggle this morning. ;-Þ
That looks like a roo to me!
LOL! Thanks for the laugh! Great post! He looks really sweet. Hope he behaves himself! :) Amazing how quickly they grow, eh?
My father raises racing pigeons and we have to band them between the ages of 3 to 6 days. Anything before 3 days, the bands slip off or the mother removes the bands and hides them and after 6 days, the chicks' feet aren't as malleable and they are too big to get through the bands. They grow so quickly!
Ahahaha! so funny! We have chickens..but I have always wondered how you tell the girls from the boys? LOL..is it just by the red showing on the beak? too funny!
Hey....Paula from the Fraker Farm guided me to you...she said you would know about what we should do about possibly trying to get a wood or pellet stove or something since our natural gas bill is sky rocketing? She said you may have good advice/info for me!!! I hope I am not bothering you!
Thanks so much! :)
